Meet the cast
The LatticeForge cast are the artisans of a number-logic puzzle guild, and each one is the living rule of a different grid — Onlie sets her lantern on the only place a number fits (Sudoku), Cage fences numbers to hit a target (KenKen), Kaku's runs sum to their clue (Kakuro), and Pica, Chevron, Umbra, Serra, Lasso, and Vega each carry another puzzle's constraint. Ada keeps the guild and teaches the one habit behind them all: find the square that's forced, and never guess. Find the rule, and the cells fall into place.

Sudoku — Latin-square uniqueness: sets her lantern on the only place a number can go in its row, column, and box

KenKen — arithmetic-cage: fills a fenced region so its numbers hit the plaque's target under its operation

Kakuro — cross-sum: fills a run so it sums to its clue with no digit repeated; the total names its parts

Nonogram/Picross — run-length deduction: reads the edge numbers and fills the overlap that must be filled
