About VentureQuest

A friendly first-business playground for curious kids aged 9–14 — think like an entrepreneur at lemonade-stand and food-truck scale.

What you can do

  • Venture Lab — set a price (and a marketing budget) and watch how many customers buy, your profit, your margin per sale, and the break-even point all change. You’ll discover the price–demand trade-off: charging more can mean fewer customers but more profit per sale.
  • Customer Lab — interview real customers before you build, then predict what they’ll actually buy. Listening beats guessing — the top reason new businesses fail is that nobody wanted the thing.
  • Decision Sim — predict which business decision earns the most profit, then see every outcome and why.
  • Tough Call — weigh real business dilemmas about fair pricing, honesty, and treating people well. The choice that makes the most money fastest isn’t always the right one — or the smartest for the long run.
  • 16 concept kits — short multiple-choice rounds on business, money, marketing, supply & demand, operations, financial literacy, and economics, with a hint whenever you get stuck.

Business is a skill, not luck

Real ventures often lose money or need to change course — and that is completely normal. VentureQuest treats a business that doesn’t work out as useful information, never a personal failing. Success isn’t guaranteed by working hard, and being rich or poor isn’t a measure of a person’s worth — this is about learning how money, prices, and customers work.
