TinkerTots — for grown-ups

TinkerTots helps children ages 5–8 build the earliest foundations of cause-and-effect reasoning and intuitive physics — how a push, a weight, or a switch changes what happens. Young children are natural causal reasoners, and the strongest way to sharpen that thinking is Predict-Observe-Explain: guess what will happen first, then watch, then hear why.

What your child practices

  • Roll & Push — a steeper ramp and a harder push send the ball farther (with Rolla).
  • Weigh & Tip — the heavier side of the seesaw drops (with Tipp).
  • Flick & Light — a whole wire lets the light turn on; a broken wire doesn’t (with Flick).
  • What Made It Move? — every effect has a cause: a push, a weight, or a switch (with Tink).

Every activity asks your child to guess first, then reveals what really happens with a friendly explanation. A wrong guess is never scolded — guessing and then finding out is exactly how learning works. Audio-first, big buttons, no timers, no pressure.
