What your child practices

SynaForge (ages 9–14) explores synesthesia and cross-modal art — the real, well-studied ways our senses connect (a high note feels bright; a low boom feels heavy; a sharp sound feels jagged). It was designed with autistic learners in mind, who report synesthesia at higher rates.

• Sound to Sight — your child reads a described sound and picks the picture that matches it, using documented cross-modal correspondences (pitch↔brightness, tempo↔sharpness, loudness↔size). The wrong answers match a different sound, so the skill is hearing the sound's qualities.
• Concepts checks — 16 short rounds across synesthesia, sound–color connections, rhythm visualization, and cross-sensory creativity. A hint appears only after a first miss, and every answer is explained.
