About StyleForge Play
How it works
StyleForge teaches fashion design the way designers actually work: from a first color choice through the cloth it is made of.
- Design Studio — dress an outfit by giving the top, skirt, and trim their colors, a pattern, and a fabric. As you go, it tells you in plain words how your colors work together (analogous, complementary, triadic…) and how earth-friendly your fabric and care choices are.
- Fabric Lab — predict how a fabric behaves — will it breathe, stretch, keep you warm, or drape like water? — before you see its real profile and why. Then match the best fabric to a job, and see how the same fiber changes when it's woven loose, woven tight, or knitted.
- Proportion Lab — fashion artists measure a figure in heads. Predict how many heads tall a figure is, and where the waist, hips, and knees fall, before the head-unit grid appears — and learn why a fashion sketch is drawn longer than a real person.
- Concept kits — 16 short question rounds, from color theory and textile science to pattern-making, fashion history, and sustainable design.
Clothes that last
Fold, our sustainability guide, has a saying: the world’s longest-lasting clothes come from cultures that mend. StyleForge treats sustainability as a design choice you can make — pick lighter-footprint fabrics, and keep and repair what you make — not as something to feel bad about. Every fabric can be a good choice when it is worn for years.
Our privacy promise
StyleForge Play is free, works offline, and collects nothing. No accounts, no ads, no tracking, and no data ever leaves your device — your progress, level, and streak are saved only in this browser.
Mistakes are part of it
You never lose anything for a wrong try. In the Fabric Lab, making a prediction — even a wrong one — is exactly what helps the idea stick. Wrong answers get a gentle explanation, and hints teach you how to reason, not just the answer. Meet the whole design crew on the cast page.
