ResearchQuest on the web is built the same way as our iOS apps: private by design.

Everything stays on this device

Your progress — best scores and XP — is stored only in this browser (on-device storage). It is never sent anywhere. Clear your browser data and it's gone; nobody else can see it.

No accounts, no ads, no tracking

There is no sign-up and no login. There are no ads and no in-app purchases. There are no third-party trackers. Nothing is fetched from the live web — every source you evaluate ships with the app.

Every source is made-up — we teach the skill, not what to think

Every article, author, website, and note in the labs is invented — we never use a real outlet or a real person. ResearchQuest teaches how to judge information: read a source, weigh it with the CRAAP test, group your notes, and claim only what the evidence really supports. The goal is trust that is calibrated to the evidence — good sources are worth using, and the deck includes reliable ones on purpose.

Built for ages 10–14

The 400 questions come straight from the ResearchQuest iOS app and are aligned to CCSS Writing (research standards) and ISTE. The skills — asking good questions, source evaluation (CRAAP), note-taking, and synthesis — are the backbone of information literacy. A hint appears only after a first try — you think it through first, and mistakes are treated as part of learning.
