About PixelForge Play

How it works

PixelForge turns art into things you do — not just facts to memorize.

  • Color Studio — first predict how colors relate, then tap a real 12-color wheel to build palettes that work together: complementary (opposites), analogous (neighbours), triadic (evenly spaced), split-complementary, tetradic, and warm or cool families. The studio checks the actual angles between your colors — no guessing, no scoring by a stranger.
  • Masterwork Remix — recreate the way famous artists arranged their pictures: put the focal point on a rule-of-thirds crossing (like Hokusai's wave), drop the horizon low for a big dramatic sky, balance a big shape with a small one far away, and mirror a symmetric design.
  • Concept kits — 16 short question rounds, from the elements of art and color theory up through design principles, digital tools, typography, art history, and advanced synthesis.

Meet the cast

Palette, Speck, Shade, Grid, Tween, and Banner each stand for one big idea in art — color, the tiny mark, light and dark, composition, movement, and type. You can read their stories and hear them on the cast page.

Our privacy promise

PixelForge Play is free, works offline, and collects nothing. No accounts, no ads, no tracking, and no data ever leaves your device — your level and streak are saved only in this browser.

Mistakes are part of it

You never lose anything for a wrong answer or a missed prediction. A wrong turn just points you toward the right idea next time — that's exactly how real artists work, one revision at a time.
