About DebateForge Play
How it works
DebateForge teaches you to argue the way strong, fair debaters do: a case needs a claim, real evidence, and the reasoning that links them — and a good debater honors the other side before answering it.
- Case Builder — tap the pieces (evidence, reasoning, a qualifier, a rebuttal) onto a claim and watch a live strength meter climb from Weak to Championship. Weak or sneaky pieces (fallacies) pull it down. A hint unlocks after you check it.
- Rebuttal Arena — first steelman the other side (pick the fairest, strongest version of their point), then choose the strongest, most respectful rebuttal. You'll learn to spot ad hominem, straw man, and red herring moves — with a reason for every choice.
- Concept kits — 16 short question rounds, from debate basics to advanced synthesis.
Debate with respect
DebateForge is about ideas, not winning at any cost. Topics are everyday and neutral — school life, community, health — never about people's identities. The goal is to disagree well: state the other side fairly, answer the argument (not the person), and change your mind when the evidence earns it. That's real strength.
Our privacy promise
DebateForge Play is free, works offline, and collects nothing. No accounts, no ads, no tracking, and no data ever leaves your device — your progress, level, and streak are saved only in this browser.
Mistakes are part of it
You never lose anything for a wrong try. A weak case gets a gentle note about what would make it stronger, and every rebuttal choice comes with a reason that teaches you how to think it through — not just the answer. That's how real reasoning is learned.
