For grown-ups

What your child practices

ChatterPals is built for ages 3–5 to grow oral language — naming, vocabulary, describing, and telling stories, the roots of reading later on.

  • Say It — hear a word, then say it aloud (naming).
  • Sort Words — put words into groups like fruits and animals (category words).
  • Describe It — pick the best describing word (adjectives).
  • Tell the Story — look at a picture and say what is happening (narration).
  • With a Grown-up — little prompts to get talking together.

We never listen — talking is always celebrated

When we ask your child to say something out loud, they simply tap “I said it!” — the app never uses the microphone and never records or grades their voice. Every attempt is celebrated. Two games (Sort Words, Describe It) have a right answer and give gentle help; the talking games are always a “yes.”

Your privacy

ChatterPals runs entirely on your device. No accounts, no ads, no microphone, nothing your child does leaves the device. Sounds use your browser’s built-in voice.
