CalmCubs — for grown-ups
CalmCubs practices CASEL self-management for grades 1–2: recognizing that a feeling has gotten big, and choosing a calm-down tool. Children practice three tools with Cozy the bear cub and friends — breathe slow (Breeze), squeeze & let go (Squish), and pause & count (Mellow) — and then figure out which tool helps when.
Big feelings are treated as normal, every tool is a friend, and there is no score and no losing — the calm-practice player just guides a calm moment. This is gentle wellness, not a crisis tool: when a feeling stays too big to shake, CalmCubs gently points your child to a grown-up they trust ("telling them is a brave, strong choice") — the age-right caregiver bridge, not a hotline.
