Privacy & how it works

AIForge on the web is built the same way as our iOS apps: private by design. An app about AI that keeps your data safe should practice what it teaches.

No real AI calls — everything is on your device

The classifier you train and the fairness cases you solve all run with simple, transparent rules right here in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, no AI model is called, and no photos, text, or answers ever leave this device.

Your progress stays on this device

Best scores and XP are stored only in this browser (on-device storage). Clear your browser data and it's gone; nobody else can see it.

No accounts, no ads, no tracking

There is no sign-up and no login. There are no ads and no in-app purchases. There are no third-party trackers embedded in the app.

How it works

In Train-a-Classifier, you give an AI labelled examples and it discovers a rule from the numbers — then it shows you the exact rule it learned and why it made each prediction. When its training data is unbalanced, one group fails; you find the fix (better, more balanced data). In the Bias Detector, you inspect skewed datasets, catch confident-but-wrong claims (even from your mentor), and spot deepfakes the way fact-checkers do. Or run a Concepts kit — a short round of questions. A hint appears only after a first try, so you think it through first, and mistakes are treated as part of learning.

Built for ages 9–14

The 400 Concepts questions come straight from the AIForge iOS design and cover AI, machine learning, ethics & bias, data privacy & digital citizenship, computer vision, and language AI, aligned to ISTE and CSTA standards. Everything works with the sound off and can be played entirely by keyboard.
