About ActiveForge Play
How it works
The ActiveForge app teaches movement with your camera. This web version teaches the knowledge behind it — the words, the science, and the planning — no camera required.
- Move Lab — read a figure or a description and name it: the level and pathway a dancer uses, the five Elements of Dance (Body, Action, Space, Time, Energy), locomotor skills like the gallop and the leap, and the key coaching cue for a strong throw, a safe landing, a good catch, and a solid kick.
- Plan Lab — pick a real goal (endurance, strength, flexibility, or the daily-activity target), then build a weekly plan with the FITT formula — Frequency, Intensity, Time, Type. You get plain-English feedback on whether it meets the activity guidelines, plus a target heart-rate zone.
- Concept kits — 16 short question rounds, from body systems and nutrition to sports science, dance, water safety, and lifetime wellness.
Skill is trained, not born
Coach Echo has one rule: no one is “bad at PE.” Every skill — throwing, balancing, dancing, pacing yourself — is something you get better at by practicing, and being clumsy while you learn is exactly the pattern. ActiveForge is about health and getting stronger, never about how a body looks. There are no winners and losers here, just your own next step.
Our privacy promise
ActiveForge Play is free, works offline, and collects nothing. No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no camera, and no data ever leaves your device — your progress, level, and streak are saved only in this browser.
Mistakes are part of it
You never lose anything for a wrong try. In the Move Lab, guessing first — even wrong — is what helps the word stick; in the Plan Lab, a near-miss tells you exactly which part of the FITT formula to fix. Meet the whole movement crew on the cast page.
