WriteRise
Plan, write, and cheer yourself on with Penna the quail — opinion, story, and information writing the SRSD way — read aloud, never red-penned, for grade 3 (ages 8–9).
Meet your mentor
Every Spark & Anvil app has a friendly mentor character that demonstrates, praises, and patiently scaffolds learning. On-device AI personalizes the mentor's responses to your kid's progress — never connecting to a server, never collecting data.

#B5651D Distributed-narrative cast
Meet the cast
WriteRise is a grade-3 writing workshop built on SRSD — the child plans first, then writes and says more, with animal writers who each carry one writing move. Penna the quail is the hero; keeper Ms. Quilby never red-pens a draft. A draft is always a work in progress, and the child's own writing is never graded by a machine.
