TinkerTots invites the youngest scientists to PREDICT what a little machine will do, then tap, watch, and find out why — a first taste of predict-observe-explain. Tink the raccoon is the hero; the cast are Tink's friends, each showing one cause and effect. A wrong prediction is the whole point, never a failure, and everything is spoken.
Tink
Predict-then-test (hero) — a raccoon who asks 'what will happen if…?' then tries it; the predict-then-check IS science
Rolla
Motion & force — an armadillo who rolls down ramps to push things (a harder push goes farther)
Tipp
Weight & balance — an elephant-shrew who adds weight and the seesaw tips heavier-side-down
Flick
Switch / cause — a firefly who flicks a switch and the light goes on or off
